For the projection installation, I created a three-layered textile base composed of materials with contrasting textures and levels of transparency. The back layer consisted of a large vintage linen tablecloth, the middle layer was formed from an off-white cotton bedsheet, and the front layer incorporated silk chiffon alongside my first dress and a flower crown featuring lace detailing. These layers worked together to create a subtle diffusion of light, softening the projected imagery and producing a greater sense of depth and atmosphere. The combination of opaque and translucent fabrics allowed the projections to interact with the materials in different ways, creating delicate variations in texture, shadow, and luminosity. The silk chiffon was particularly effective, as its transparency enabled light to pass through and gently disperse across the layers behind it. Beyond their visual qualities, the materials themselves carried personal and symbolic significance.
